"When silly ideas turn into amazing community projects...

...is when you know you found your people. In this case it was Liza Shumska that saw some recent photos of myself and said they would be my character shots if I ever made a movie. That got me thinking. What if there was a movie about the poster community? How would each artist be represented in their character poster? How would the people behind the sheet look ON THE SHEET? And with that, the idea for this project was born."

Eileen Steinbach, also known as SG Posters, is a designer and illustrator from Hannover, Germany and the driving force behind these projects. In 2022 it was all about THE FEMALE GAZE, a collaborative project featuring over 30 female artists from all over the world, celebrating women in cinema. This year, it's about the community as a whole. Celebrating the art AND the artists. When she's not on social media, connecting to fellow artists, Steinbach is a fulltime freelancer creating key art and illustrated promotional pieces for the entertainment industry. Her clients range from indie filmmakers to major studios like Disney, Marvel, Sony and Lionsgate.
